Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monkey Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sando Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sando Han looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man darts in and clinches Han up against the cage.
Han tries to score a body lock takedown but Man shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Man scores with a shot to the side of Han's head.
Han goes for a takedown attempt but Man pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Han shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Man as he avoids it easily.
Monkey Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sando Han.
Han looks gassed!
Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Han. That did some damage!

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Han is bucking up trying to escape but Man cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Man looking to control but Han is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Han wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Man.

Man postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Han to stand up.

Man is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Han's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Han's back!

Man is looking for the choke from the back position but Han is controlling his hands well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Man is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Han is defending well though. Man let's go of the attempt for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Han makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Monkey Man dominated that round.

That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Man feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Han will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Monkey Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Man drives through and clinches with Han against the cage.
Man pushes off an throws an elbow but Han leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Han tightens his grip and picks Man up, before dumping him to the ground. Man manages to land in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Han with a flurry of punches that miss.
Han forces his way into half guard.
Man is trying to get back to full guard.

Han is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Man manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Man cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Man stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Man.

Han throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Han off to one side.

Han shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
