Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz missing with a left hand there. Poe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Poe forces Diaz back against the ropes and clinches.
Poe gets through Diaz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Diaz jumps guard but Poe turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Poe lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Poe walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

No joy there for Poe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Poe ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.

Poe connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diaz. Diaz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Poe scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Poe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Poe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Diaz under the eye.
Poe avoids the body shot from Diaz.

Poe lands a big head kick that sends Diaz to the canvas! Poe follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
