The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andreas doesn't manage to clinch there - Jinping circles away.
Andreas thuds a left hand into Jinping's body.

and Jinping counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jinping.
Andreas misses with an elbow over the top.

Andreas has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jinping regains guard immediately.
Andreas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Andreas stands up over Jinping, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Andreas's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andreas wants to stand but Jinping is controlling his posture from full guard.

Andreas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jinping is keeping the position for now.

Andreas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andreas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jinping is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jinping really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andreas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jinping is pulling down on Andreas's head. It's preventing any offense from Andreas, at least for the moment.
Jinping is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jinping can do anything to dispel that myth.
Andreas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Andreas has his feet on Jinping's thighs here. He's pushed Jinping off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jinping screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
