Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cris Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herb Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter has chosen Any Song by Bob Marley as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Herb Hunter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Herb Hunter!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter lands the left hand.
Hunter avoids the head kick by Ford.
Hunter connects with a crisp jab.
Hunter scores with a decent looking hook.
Ford chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hunter can pounce on him.
Hunter lands with a slapping head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ford. That did some damage!
Ford takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ford is breathing heavily.
Ford throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hunter counters with an outside leg kick.
Hunter getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ford is rocked!
Herb Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hunter, right into the meat.
Oh Ford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunter lands a jab to Ford's midsection.
Hunter drops Ford with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hunter follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herb Hunter!
A very excited looking Herb Hunter made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
