Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beyond Chopped (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ares Daniels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beyond Chopped!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ares Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chopped's hands.
Daniels slips a straight right by Chopped.
Beyond Chopped seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chopped clinches up against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Daniels just misses with a elbow thrown towards Chopped's brow.
Chopped tries to circle away but Daniels has him pinned against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Chopped goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Chopped tries to work over Daniels's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stalling in the clinch from Chopped.
Chopped blocks an uppercut.

Daniels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chopped connects with a high kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daniels has managed to clinch.
Chopped tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daniels smiles and moves away.
Chopped throws a body punch but Daniels moves out of range.
Chopped throws a head kick that misses.

Chopped shoots in and gets a takedown into Daniels's guard.
Chopped postures up in Daniels's guard and throws a big left but Daniels blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chopped with a nice head shot there.

Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chopped defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daniels is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chopped is aware though and is defending well.
Chopped throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daniels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chopped lands a couple of elbows.
Daniels trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Chopped got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chopped has managed to get both his arms back between Daniels's legs - danger averted.
Chopped is in close to Daniels's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chopped postures up and lands a big shot to Daniels's brow.
Chopped looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Chopped lands a couple of digs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chopped with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chopped won't allow Daniels to get back to his feet.

Chopped trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom.
Chopped works over Daniels with some ground and pound from guard.
Chopped cracks Daniels with a solid left hand.
Chopped is in close to Daniels's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Daniels is rocked!
Chopped postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Daniels is still in real trouble! Can Chopped finish him?
Chopped arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Daniels's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Beyond Chopped!
Beyond Chopped took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I think it's time to smoke a blunt, who's in?'.
