Zidik fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Monelli checks it well.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Monelli checks a leg kick.
Monelli swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zidik misses with a double jab
and Monelli counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zidik looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Monelli throws a hook but Zidik blocks it.
Zidik throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zidik takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

No joy there for Monelli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Monelli connects with a body shot that sends Zidik's belly button to the back.

Zidik lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Monelli punishes Zidik's body with a nice straight punch.
Good leg kick by Zidik there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Zidik connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Monelli's hands.

Zidik fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Monelli checks it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zidik is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Monelli's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Monelli's back!
Monelli has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Zidik is cranking Monelli's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Monelli! He's tightened the choke and Monelli is tapping out!

Tomas Zidik really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Cobra Labs - 146Q Energy logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
