Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Altair Ibn La Ahad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dzons Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ibn La Ahad comes to the cage accompanied by Assassin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Altair Ibn La Ahad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dzons Do!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do tries to bum rush Ibn La Ahad with a series of wild strikes but Ibn La Ahad uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ibn La Ahad is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Do doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Ibn La Ahad counters with a takedown into side control.

Ibn La Ahad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ibn La Ahad sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Do is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Do struggling a bit here.
The ground and pound from Ibn La Ahad seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Ibn La Ahad thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ibn La Ahad wants to control but Do is keeping him busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ibn La Ahad is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Do has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Do!
Ibn La Ahad has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Do trying to control but Ibn La Ahad is working from the bottom.

Ibn La Ahad is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Do is controlling him.
Ibn La Ahad wants to sweep here but Do controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Do wants to control from the top but Ibn La Ahad keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ibn La Ahad pulls Do in close to prevent any damage.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dzons Do wasn't active enough on the ground.
Do is looking to clinch.
Do misses with a takedown attempt

and Ibn La Ahad counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ibn La Ahad.

Do is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ibn La Ahad controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Ibn La Ahad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Do avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ibn La Ahad drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ibn La Ahad jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Do can't keep his opponent in guard - Ibn La Ahad advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Do is not content to let Ibn La Ahad control the position.

Ibn La Ahad drops an elbow to the side of Do's head.
Ibn La Ahad not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ibn La Ahad moves nicely into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Do takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Ibn La Ahad is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Do will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The strikes coming from Ibn La Ahad are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Do closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ibn La Ahad to the mat! Ibn La Ahad manages to get full guard.
Ibn La Ahad on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ibn La Ahad tries to get out of the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ibn La Ahad is on top in guard.
Ibn La Ahad is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Do wants to hold on but Ibn La Ahad pushes him away.
Ibn La Ahad controlling the pace for now.

Do is breathing heavily.

Ibn La Ahad lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ibn La Ahad takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Do has left one of his arms exposed and Ibn La Ahad doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Do screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
