Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Slevin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Slevin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Slevin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slevin misses with a few strikes there.

Slevin clinches.
Johnson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Slevin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slevin's waist but Slevin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Johnson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Slevin after a bit of a struggle.
Slevin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnson has him pressed against the cage.

Slevin looks for the body kick but Johnson saw that one coming.

Slevin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.

Slevin misses with a looping left.

Slevin takes the fight into the clinch.

Johnson content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slevin throws a leg kick but Johnson moved away.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Slevin throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
A left lands for Slevin.
Slevin throws a combination that misses

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Johnson stands and throws Slevin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Slevin tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Johnson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Slevin is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
