Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Zependa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamil The Edge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zependa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Zependa wants to clinch
and The Edge counters with a straight right hand.
Zependa tries to clinch
and The Edge counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zependa's knee momentarily.
Zependa closes the distance but The Edge moves to the side
and The Edge counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The Edge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

It looks like Alejandro Zependa has been cut.
The Edge goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zependa shoots in looking for a takedown. The Edge tries to sprawl out of it but Zependa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Edge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alejandro Zependa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and The Edge counters with a crisp one two that drops Zependa! The Edge thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zependa to his feet! Zependa is in big trouble!

Zependa is rocked!
Zependa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Oh Zependa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zependa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Edge tries to avoid it but Zependa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Edge to the ground. The Edge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The Edge circles away from the clinch attempt
and The Edge counters with a slapping leg kick.
The Edge drops Zependa with a naaaaasty hook - Zependa is in real trouble here! The Edge dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
