The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emenike cracks Frenandez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A low kick from Emenike is predictable there

and Frenandez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Frenandez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice sprawl there from Emenike as Frenandez shoots in.

Emenike lands a left and a right that send Frenandez crashing to the mat, dazed. Emenike thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Nick Frenandez has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Emenike lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Frenandez - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Emenike!
