The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dos Santos as he jumps to the side.
Steele shoots in and drives through. Dos Santos sprawls well.
Dos Santos looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Steele!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dos Santos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Steele is surviving well by controlling Dos Santos's body position as best he can.
Steele is working to get back to half guard.
Steele tries to improve his position but Dos Santos has taken his back! Dos Santos has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Steele tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dos Santos pushes Steele away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
