The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reyes lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gallows is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reyes defends well.

Gallows lands with an uppercut that bounces Reyes off the cage and back into range.
Reyes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gallows's half guard.
Reyes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gallows!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
