Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Swiggity Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tmothy Aztec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hardwell - Spaceman (CFT Remix). Tmothy Aztec has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Aztec finds it's way through Banks's defenses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aztec is proving hard to escape from.

Aztec stays in close to Banks's body and controls the position.
Banks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aztec on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Aztec moves into range and clinches up with Banks.

Banks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Swiggity Banks will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Aztec throws a low kick but Banks avoids it.

and Aztec counters with a three punch combo that has Banks backing up. Banks nods at Aztec to acknowledge the strikes.
Aztec shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Banks as he jumps to the side.
Banks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aztec closes the distance and clinches up with Banks, looking for a takedown. Aztec pushes Banks against the cage but Banks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Aztec or perhaps it was just good defense by Banks which made him look bad.
Swiggity Banks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tmothy Aztec.

Swiggity Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Aztec counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Aztec lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Banks at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Aztec shoots in looking for a takedown but Banks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aztec's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Aztec working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Banks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Banks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Swiggity Banks.
I think Banks has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Swiggity Banks misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
