The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster misses with the combination.
Monster looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Zia cracks Monster with an open hand slap.
Monster doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Monster misses with a wild combination.

Zia misses with a looping right.
Monster throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lochness Monster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zia connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Monster's hands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Monster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Monster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zia misses with a hook.

Zia throws a looping overhand right but Monster ducks down to avoid it.
Nice body punch from Zia.
Zia lands an overhand right.
Zia cracks Monster with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Monster tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Zia pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Monster is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
