The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lincoln but Lincoln pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Khan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lincoln circles away.
Lincoln throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lincoln throws a sloppy head kick and Khan moves out of range easily.

and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
