Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Jedi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Renato Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ty Jedi!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Jedi.
Jedi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jedi throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Jedi looks for the body kick but Silva saw that one coming.
Jedi throws a wild body kick that Silva sees coming a mile off.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jedi, as that shot connected.
Jedi swinging wildly here.
Jedi throws a head kick that misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jedi. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jedi.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jedi.
Jedi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jedi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Jedi throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
Jedi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Silva takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jedi looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Silva blocks the body kick.
Jedi tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jedi lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Renato Silva has been cut.
Ty Jedi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jedi drops Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Jedi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Silva is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Silva checks a leg kick.
Jedi misses the jab.
Silva wants to stay close but Jedi steps back to make room for something. Silva seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Jedi and Silva drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ty Jedi!
After winning the bout, Ty Jedi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
