Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between CJ Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grimlock Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Wu Tang Clan - Method Man. CJ Riley had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley throws a head kick that misses.
Jones shoots in and bounces Riley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Riley is trying to get back to half guard.
Jones grinds an elbow into Riley's temple.
Riley gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Riley regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jones distracts Riley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Riley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones landing with the ground and pound.

Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Riley is retaining full guard.

Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Riley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Riley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Riley won't be happy with that.
Riley is breathing heavily.
Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones is working to tighten is grip on Riley's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Riley has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Riley passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
