The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson lands a slapping body shot.
Simpson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Guy Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simpson moves into the clinch.
Albuquerque has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Simpson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Simpson digs a right hand underneath Albuquerque's ribcage. Albuquerque let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Simpson pushes Albuquerque back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Simpson drops Albuquerque onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Albuquerque is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
