Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herzog comes into the arena with Takida - Curly Sue blaring out of the sound system. Williams has chosen Fuel-Hemorrhage as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herzog shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Herzog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Herzog leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Williams checks a leg kick nicely.
Herzog connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Williams looks for a takedown but Herzog sprawls well.

Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Herzog throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Williams because Herzog loaded up on that one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Herzog with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Williams wants to free his trapped foot but Herzog is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Williams is trying to control the action in half guard but Herzog is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Williams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
