Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Madgwick!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madgwick looking to score a takedown here. Drysdale is defending well but Madgwick drives through and ends up in Drysdale's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Drysdale working for a triangle but Madgwick defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drysdale is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Madgwick is aware though and is defending well.
Madgwick trying to stand up but can't free himself from Drysdale's guard.

Madgwick wants to get up but he can't break Drysdale's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Madgwick looking to sit in guard and control but Drysdale gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Madgwick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drysdale doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drysdale manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Drysdale will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Drysdale stays in close to Madgwick's body and controls the position.
Madgwick wants to sweep here but Drysdale controlling him for the moment.

Drysdale sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Madgwick's guard.

Drysdale is looking for a kimura but Madgwick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drysdale to get the leverage.

Drysdale is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Madgwick!

Drysdale has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Madgwick is forced to tap!
