Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubba Smith is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bubba Smith!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield darts in trying to clinch

and Smith counters with a takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Redfield can't do much from the bottom here.
Redfield parries the strikes from Smith easily there. Smith is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Redfield to escape.
Redfield really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Redfield is looking to reverse the position.
Redfield takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Redfield is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Smith has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Redfield sneaks out the side door and pushes Smith away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Smith counters with a right hand to the body.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Redfield tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Redfield sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Redfield darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage.
Redfield lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

Smith fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chris Redfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Smith.
Redfield has a couple of punches blocked by Smith.

Redfield throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Redfield swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Redfield is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Redfield down to the mat. Redfield avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Smith shoots in for a takedown but Redfield shows good takedown defense.

and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Redfield's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smith distracts Redfield with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Smith arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Redfield's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
