Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rowdy Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaike Tristan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaike Tristan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickoson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tristan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Nickoson moves into the clinch.
Nickoson is trying to pull guard but Tristan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Nickoson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tristan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tristan is looking to take a break and control but Nickoson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nickoson is looking to reverse the position.
Nickoson trying to remain calm as Tristan controls from the top position.

Tristan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nickoson is trying to escape and Tristan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nickoson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tristan! Very nice indeed!
