Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitalio Delgaddacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xolani Ihejirika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delgaddacio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lullaby of Birdland by Sarah Vaughan. Ihejirika has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Xolani Ihejirika is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgaddacio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ihejirika looks winded!
Danga de danga de dang - Delgaddacio scores with a four punch combination!
Ihejirika gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Delgaddacio scores with a one two! Ihejirika had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Delgaddacio lands a nice looking body shot.

Delgaddacio scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Delgaddacio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Delgaddacio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ihejirika keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Delgaddacio's efforts to push away.

Delgaddacio throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ihejirikas head.

Delgaddacio digs a right hand underneath Ihejirika's ribcage. Ihejirika let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Delgaddacio lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ihejirika backwards.

Ihejirika is rocked!
Ihejirika's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ihejirika is still on wobbly legs! Can Delgaddacio finish him?
Delgaddacio wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ihejirika seems to have recovered his senses.
Delgaddacio softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Delgaddacio is trying to force a seperation but Ihejirika has the dominant position.

Delgaddacio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Delgaddacio lands with a shot to the body.
Delgaddacio shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ihejirika eats them both and turns towards Delgaddacio to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Delgaddacio stalks Ihejirika and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ihejirika's face. Ihejirika staggers backwards, shaken.
A left lands for Delgaddacio.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A shot to the liver by Delgaddacio. Beautiful body shot.
Ihejirika drops his hands momentarily and Delgaddacio takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Delgaddacio ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Delgaddacio, as that shot connected.
Vitalio Delgaddacio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ihejirika walks straight into a right hand from Delgaddacio - that's dropped him! Delgaddacio jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ihejirika from any more punishment! Ihejirika complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
