The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aziami dodges the punch combination from Freeman.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Aziami has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Freeman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Freeman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aziami tries to avoid it but Freeman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aziami to the ground. Aziami escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Aziami's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
