Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nic Ola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ola has chosen Disorder by Ice T&Slayer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ola.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nic Ola wasn't active enough on the ground.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ola lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Andersson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Andersson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Andersson throws a head kick but Ola moves out of range.

Andersson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ola's hands.
Ola goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Andersson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Ola closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Andersson quickly recovers to half guard.
Andersson is staying active underneath Ola, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ola seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Andersson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nic Ola hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ola takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Andersson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Andersson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ola wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andersson keeps working.
