These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stef Jalz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leopold Stotch!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stotch throws a hook to the side of Jalz's head but Jalz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stotch scores with a nice right hand.
Jalz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stotch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jalz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stotchs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jalz scores with a jab to the head.
Jalz throws a right and a left that Stotch avoids nicely.
Jalz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Jalz does no damage.
Jalz gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stotch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Stotch slows the pace down.

Stotch stands up.
Leopold Stotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jalz feints a jab promting Stotch to slip. Jalz then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stotch slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Leopold Stotch has been cut.
Jalz misses with a straight right.
Jalz misses the shot to the body.
Stotch scores with a sloppy right hand. Jalz should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stotch drops Jalz with a beautiful combination! Jalz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stotch is looking for the KO!


Jalz is rocked!


It looks like Stef Jalz has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stotch darts in and clinches Jalz up against the cage.
Oh Jalz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stotch lands a big right hand that drops Jalz! The killer instinct kicks in and Stotch finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Stotch!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leopold Stotch!
