The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polaniecki thows a leg kick but Cierra checks it
and Cierra counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Polaniecki thinking.

Cierra feints and then cracks Polaniecki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Polaniecki down.

Polaniecki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Cierra dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Polaniecki. That did some damage!

Polaniecki's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Polaniecki takes a swing at Cierra's ribcage but misses.
Cierra uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Polaniecki.

Polaniecki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cierra connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cierra.

Cierra lands with a hook. Polaniecki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The cut above Gniewomir Polaniecki's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Cierra lands a nice hook to Polaniecki's body. Polaniecki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cierra fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Polaniecki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cierra throws out a leg kick but Polaniecki moves out of range and Cierra only half commits.

Cierra lands a big head kick that sends Polaniecki tumbling to the mat! Cierra takes a step backwards and waves Polaniecki back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gniewomir Polaniecki's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

and Cierra makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Cierra lands a big uppercut and Polaniecki crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Polaniecki looks OK. Cierra waves Polaniecki back to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gniewomir Polaniecki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
