Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sim comes to the cage accompanied by Otherside by Red Hot Chili Pepper. Dhal Sim could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeremy Vega's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sim connects with a nice looking jab.
Vega needs to keep his hands up - Sim had a free shot at his head there.
Sim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Sim.
Vega has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vega there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sim throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vega. That did some damage!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sim connects with a leg kick. Vega looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vega has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Good leg kick by Sim there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vega.
Sim fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sim jabs Vega right on the nose. Vega blinks but takes it well.
Sim feints and then cracks Vega's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vega down.

A solid body kick from Sim.
Sim scores with a kick to the body.
Sim is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Vega looks winded!
Sim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sim.

Sim scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Vega takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sim bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Vega has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sim.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sim!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sim scores with a jab.
Vega doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sim lands with an uppercut that bounces Vega off the cage and back into range.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sim lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vega tries to move into range but Sim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dhal Sim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sim. That's going to slow Vega down.
Nice body kick from Sim.
Good exchange - Sim coming out on top.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sim, right into the meat.
Sim moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sim throws a shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vega takes one on the button.
Sim lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sim.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dhal Sim dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Vega's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Sim throws a front kick that sends Vega stumbling back into the cage.

Sim throws a good cross that connects.
Vega is rocked!

Vega is still on wobbly legs! Can Sim finish him?

Vega takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sim lands with a right that hurts Vega. Vega looks to clinch but Sim throws a short knee that drops Vega. This one is all over!
