Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tesla Golf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tesla Golf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Norris.
Norris working away.
Golf tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Norris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Norris tries for a kimura but Golf is defending well.
Golf is looking to reverse the position.

Norris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Golf tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Norris wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Golf manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Golf is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Golf is trying to control but can't.
Golf wants to get back to full guard but Norris has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Golf is in all sorts of trouble here.
Golf looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Golf is having to fend off submission attempts from Norris, who is looking to sink in the choke. Norris doesn't have the hooks in though and Golf manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Golf wants to control from the top but Norris keeps moving.

Norris had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Golf is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Norris Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Golf's back instead.

Golf trying to control the hands but Norris won't let him.
Norris is trying to stick to Golf's back but Golf is turning into Norris. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Norris's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Golf.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Norris tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Golf sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Norris's guard.
Golf is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Norris reverses the position - he's now on top in Golf's guard.
Golf not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Golf is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Golf trying to control the position from guard on top but Norris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Golf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Golf connects with a high kick.
Golf throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Golf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Golf thuds his shin into the meat of Norris's side.
A nice inside leg kick there by Golf. That's going to slow Norris down.

Norris gets the takedown into side control.
Golf is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Norris's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Norris is trying to work for a kimura but Golf is defending well.
Golf trying to control here.
Norris is breathing heavily.

Golf works his way to full guard. Good work.
Golf trying to keep a closed guard but Norris is proving a slippery customer.
Norris preventing the sweep.
Golf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Norris's guard.
Golf trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Norris is looking for a triangle here but Golf uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Golf just content to control the position.
Norris is not content to let Golf control the position.
Norris gets back to half guard.

Golf trying to control the action but Norris is working from the bottom.
Norris gets back to full guard.
Golf looking to sit in guard and control but Norris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Norris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Golf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Norris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Norris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Golf's guard.

Norris is working for a submission of some sort.
Golf manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tesla Golf will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Golf throws and low kick but Norris moves out of range easily.
Norris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Golf tries to avoid it but Norris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Golf to the ground. Golf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Golf throws a head kick but Norris moves out of range.
Golf misses with a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Norris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Golf - the referee stops the clock and Norris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Golf. Norris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Golf lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Norris takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Golf pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Norris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Golf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Golf working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Golf is looking to take a break and control but Norris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Norris is looking for a sweep.

Golf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working.
Norris sneaks back into half guard.

Golf is looking for a kimura but Norris is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Golf to get the leverage.

Golf is working for a kimura but Norris is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are battling for position here. Norris manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Golf drops back, looking for a kneebar! Norris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Norris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Norris!

Golf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Norris's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Norris's back!

Golf working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Norris is doing well to defend. Golf seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Norris is forced to tap and this one is over!
