And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paulo Calamote!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee thows a leg kick but Calamote checks it
and Calamote counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Calamote steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lee. That one must have hurt.
Calamote looks winded!
Calamote throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Lee counters with a nice kick to the body.
Lee fakes the leg kick and cracks Calamote in the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Calamote gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Calamote's calf.
Lee lands with a nice body kick.
Lee cracks a nice hook into Calamote's ribs.

Calamote takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lee throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lee scores with a jab to the jaw.
Calamote blocks a head kick by Lee.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Calamote crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lee - the referee stops the clock and Calamote gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lee. Calamote manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Lee lands a big head kick that sends Calamote tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Calamote back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Paulo Calamote has been cut.
Freddy Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a powerful right kick. Calamote tried to block low but the kick was high! Calamote was taken right off of his feet! Lee jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Freddy Lee was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
