The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Anderson sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Santos throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.
A slapping body kick lands there for Anderson.
Anderson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Santos is breathing heavily.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Santos throws a nice looking combination but Anderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Anderson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Santos stumbling backwards into the cage! Santos bounces back off the cage towards Anderson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Anderson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Anderson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
