Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Derecho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Derecho is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derecho moves out of range of the body kick.
Derecho misses with a wild combination.

Morris rushes Derecho and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Morris has hold of one of Derecho's legs. Derecho is fighting the takedown attempt but Morris gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Derecho doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Morris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Some bone on bone action there as Derecho checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Morris tries to bum rush Derecho with a series of wild strikes but Derecho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morris seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Derecho for as long as he can get away with.
