The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk misses with a straight right.
Trott lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Turk.
Turk walks into a jab.
Turk misses the shot to the body.
Turk looks to land a combination but Trott avoids it well.

Trott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turk.

Trott walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Trott feints and then cracks Turk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Turk down.
Turk throws a lazy right hand but Trott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Crunch! Trott slams his shin into Turk's torso.
Turk throws a right and a left that Trott avoids nicely.

Trott cracks Turk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trott just misses with a punch to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Turk, as that shot connected.

Trott lands a leg kick that knocks Turk off balance momentarily.
Turk takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Trott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turk.

Trott lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Turk throws a leg kick but Trott sees it coming and checks it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Turk is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Trott throws a sloppy head kick and Turk moves out of range easily.
Trott is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Turk had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Jab, jab by Trott - just one landing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Trott lands a leg kick that knocks Turk off balance momentarily.
Turk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trott pinned against the cage. Trott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trott smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Turk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Turk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trott. Trott circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Turk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Trott throws a leg kick but Turk sees it coming and moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Trott there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Trott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turk doesn't seem bothered though.
Turk throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Trott.

Trott swings for the body but Turk moves out of range.

Turk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trott sprawls well. Trott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turk gets slowly back to his feet.

Turk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Trott connects with a jab.
Turk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trott is fending him off so far but Turk persists. Nope, Trott circles away and we're back to standing.

and Trott counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Trott.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Trott is nestled in close to Turk, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Trott is keen to just control but Turk is a slippery customer.

Oh Turk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trott lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Turk! Trott sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Turk and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
