Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mana Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Oswalt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Oswalt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nate Oswalt!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oswalt was well out of range. Poor timing from Sato.
Sato shoots in for a double leg but Oswalt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sato steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Oswalt. That one must have hurt.
Sato tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oswalt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sato somewhat.
Sato shoots in looking for a takedown. Oswalt tries to sprawl out of it but Sato keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oswalt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mana Sato. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oswalt leaves Sato with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A nice combination there by Oswalt.
Oswalt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Oswalt wants to pass the guard but Sato is keeping the position.

Sato lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That has opened up Nate Oswalt's cut even more.
Oswalt is trying to get back to full guard.
Sato winds up and cracks Oswalt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The cut above Nate Oswalt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oswalt can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nate Oswalt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nate Oswalt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
