Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rodgers has a takedown stuffed.
Rodgers feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nelsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A slow jab from Nelson misses its intended target.
Nelson misses with a series of wild punches.
Nelson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nelson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodgers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nelson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rodgers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nelson throws a right hand that Rodgers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodgers also avoids with ease.
Nelson throws a nice looking combination but Rodgers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nelson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodgers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rodgers ducks under a wild hook from Nelson.
Rodgers closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rodgers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nelson circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Nelson. No joy for Rodgers on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Rodgers . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rodgers is breathing heavily.
Nelson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodgers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nelson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Oooooh!!! Nelson has knocked Rodgers down with a huge combo! Nelson steps away and waves a wobbly Rodgers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rodgers is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Nelson knocks Rodgers out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
