PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maddox comes to the cage accompanied by Frontines by Diabolic ft. Immortal Technique. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aerts can pounce on him.
Peter Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maddox takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Maddox tries a head kick but it misses.
Aerts wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Aerts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maddox drops Aerts with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aerts looks back up at him and smiles so Maddox waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Maddox lands an uppercut, right on the button! Aerts tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
