Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton ducks right into an uppercut from Sauna.
Sauna throws the left hand but Benton avoids the punch easily.
Benton throws a head kick that Sauna semi-blocks.
A head kick misses from Benton.
Benton missing with a left hand there. Sauna was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A chopping leg kick lands by Benton.
Sauna moves out of range as Benton strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Sauna 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Benton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sauna was well out of range. Poor timing from Benton.
Sauna swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Sauna finds it's way through Benton's defenses.
Sauna bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Benton swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sauna counters with a shoot takedown. Benton fights it but they end up in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sauna throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Benton has momentary wrist control but Sauna slips an elbow through the middle.
Benton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sauna is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sauna shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Benton sprawls well. Benton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sauna gets slowly back to his feet.

Benton drops Sauna with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sauna! Benton dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
