Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clementin Mathieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hassel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mathieux drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hassel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mathieux has Hassel in his guard.

Hassel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mathieux paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Hassel counters with a crisp one two that drops Mathieux! Hassel thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mathieux to his feet! Mathieux is in big trouble!

Mathieux drops his hands momentarily. Hassel doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mathieux staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mathieux doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
