And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schuman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schuman thows a body shot but no joy.
No joy there for Blood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schuman clinches but Blood breaks the clinch
and Blood counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Schuman misses with a low kick.
Blood throws a leg kick that is checked

and Schuman counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Schuman distracts Blood with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Blood is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schuman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Blood dives on top into guard.
Oh Blood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blood advances position into side control!
Schuman regains half guard.
Blood seems to have got his legs back now.
Blood trying to pass the guard but Schuman defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blood is breathing heavily.
Blood seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schuman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Schuman is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Schuman is trying to maintain the position but Blood is very close to passing his half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Blood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schuman works his way to full guard. Good work.

Schuman is looking for a triangle but Blood pushes his legs off easily.

Schuman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Blood trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Schuman tries to improve position but can't.

Blood in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Schuman is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
