Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stompin Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guiness Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guiness Stout has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stompin Tom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guiness Stout!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tom showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stout.
Tom throws a nice looking combination but Stout bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tom moves in looking to clinch but Stout pushes him off.
Tom tries to clinch up.
Tom is looking to clinch.
Tom shoots in but no luck this time.
Tom throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tom fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tom plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tom fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stout.
Stout shoots in but no luck this time.
Tom pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tom could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stout changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stout wants to stand but Tom has his arm trapped.
Stout wants to control but Tom is keeping him busy.
Tom manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Tom is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Stout pulls his head out easily.
Tom is staying active underneath Stout, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Stout controlling the pace.

Stout is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tom is refusing to be controlled, as Stout sits in half guard.
Tom works his way to full guard. Good work.
Tom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Tom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stout gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tom is breathing heavily.

Stout trying to control the position from guard on top but Tom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stout thows a big elbow that misses.
Tom tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tom is looking for a triangle but Stout pushes his legs off easily.
Stout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tom uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Stout shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Tom is squirming around, avoiding Stout's attempts to control the action.
Tom is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stout wants to control the pace but Tom is squirming around nicely.
Tom is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Stout sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Stout scoring with strikes but Tom is staying in there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tom is looking to get to half guard.
Stout landing strikes, looking to finish!

Stout controlling from mount.
Stout wants to control the pace but Tom is squirming around nicely.
Stout might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tom kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Despite being in the dominant position, Guiness Stout just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stout takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tom is looking to clinch but Stout is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stompin Tom dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Tom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stout closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tom connects with a solid leg kick.

Stout misses with a takedown attempt - Tom sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tom throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tom tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Stout counters by clinching up.
Stout takes an elbow to the forehead.
Tom lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Tom lands a knee to the head.
Tom drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stout gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stout is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Tom is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tom tries a knee to the head but Stout blocks it.
The is referee keeping an eye on Stout - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tom wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stout throws a leg kick but Tom sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stompin Tom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tom is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A head kick misses from Stout.

Stout gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stout tries to pull guard but Tom holds him up against the cage and eventually Stout drops back down to his feet.
Stout tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tom smiles and moves away.
Stompin Tom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guiness Stout.
Stout throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice combination there by Tom.

Stout has managed to clinch.
Tom lands an elbow that stopped Stout in his tracks for a moment.
Stout looking to stall.

Tom manages to break the clinch.
Stompin Tom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stout shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stout showed some decent athleticism there.
Stout wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tom keeps working.
Tom gets full guard.
Tom lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stout!

Tom looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Stout is looking to improve his position but Tom isn't that keen on the idea.

Tom is working for a guillotine from mount but Stout frees his head quite easily.
Stout is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tom cracks Stout with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Stout that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Stout tries to reverse the position but Tom maintains control.

Stout in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
BOOM! Tom connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Stout is just holding on here. Tom manages to take his back.

Tom has his arm under Stout's chin here. Game over son! Tom squeezes tightly and Stout is forced to tap out!
