Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Kurze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven S Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svensson has chosen Muay Thai as his entrance music. Sven S Svensson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konrad Kurze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sven S Svensson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurze scores with a shot to the body.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Konrad Kurze will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Konrad Kurze has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Svensson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kurze closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Svensson did well to prevent Kurze getting side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Konrad Kurze.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kurze, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
