The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Wilson.
Horvat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wilson lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Horvat sprawling to the canvas. Wilson follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Horvat hang on?

Horvat is rocked!

It looks like Zlatko Horvat has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Wilson thows a huge punch but Horvat dodges it nicely.
Horvat pushes Wilson off looking to stand but Wilson dives back in and keeps control.
Wilson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Horvat's head.
Wilson drops an elbow to the side of Horvat's head.
Wilson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Horvat is trying to stand.
Horvat seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilson lands a nice short elbow.

Wilson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilson just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Horvat throws a head kick but Wilson moves out of range.

Wilson thows a body shot but no joy.
Wilson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Horvat at a distance.
Horvat is breathing heavily.
Wilson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wilson lands an uppercut, right on the button! Horvat tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). George Wilson!
