Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tap Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riddle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hatsikidee! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tap Out!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Riddle!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riddle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Riddle is trying to get an arm triangle but Out is defending well.
The strikes coming from Riddle are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Riddle working the strikes but Out uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Out is trying to maintain the position but Riddle is very close to passing his half guard.

Riddle is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Out has managed to free his arm - good work.

Riddle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Riddle keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Out trying to control but Riddle postures up.

Riddle is looking for a kimura here.
Riddle is trying to control the action in half guard but Out is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riddle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Out with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Riddle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Out doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Riddle.

Riddle is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Riddle working over Out with some ground and pound. Out looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Riddle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Out sees it coming and defends easily.

Out wants to improve his position but Riddle is controlling well.
Riddle looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Riddle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Out defending well though.
Riddle not landing any meaningful shots this time.

It looks like Tap Out has been cut.

Riddle is trying to work for a kimura but Out is defending well.
Riddle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Out manages to get to full guard.
Out can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Riddle controls the pace.
Riddle looking to pass the guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riddle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Riddle with a flurry of punches that miss.
Riddle postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Tap Out's cut.
That's time! Out's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riddle is defended easily by Out.

Riddle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Out tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Riddle is in Out's guard.
Out keeping full guard, as Riddle tries to pass.
Riddle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Out's head.
Riddle tries to free his leg and advance position but Out is retaining full guard.
Riddle trying to control the position from guard on top but Out is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Riddle is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Out is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Out has escaped and now he's on top!
Out wants to pass the guard but Riddle is keeping the position.

Out is pushing down on Riddle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Riddle is fighting to maintain full guard but Out has managed to sneak the leg through.
Tom Riddle has got the better of the ground game so far.
Riddle wants to improve his position but Out is controlling well.

Riddle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Out pulls his head out easily.
Out trying to control the action but Riddle is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riddle wants to control but Out is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Riddle regains full guard. Nicely done.
Riddle seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Out advances to half guard.
Out controlling the action here.

Riddle is controlling Out's trapped leg to prevent Out from advancing to side control.
Riddle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Out wants to take a breather but Riddle is having none of it.
Riddle trying to hold on to Out's head to control him but Out postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tap Out.
A head kick misses from Out.
Riddle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tom Riddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riddle misses with the combination.
Riddle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tap Out has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Riddle.
Out tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Riddle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Riddle.
Out moves in looking to clinch but Riddle pushes him off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Riddle.
Out tries a head kick but it misses.

Out clinches.
Out misses with a knee to the head.
Out tries to land a knee to the head but Riddle blocks with his arms.

Riddle pulls guard.
Riddle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Out!
Out is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Riddle looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Riddle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Riddle throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Riddle controlling his opponent.
Riddle trying to control but he's not successful this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Out keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Riddle working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Riddle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Riddle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Out's guard.

Out can't keep his opponent in guard - Riddle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Riddle trying to control from half guard but Out is working away.
Riddle controlling the pace.
Riddle wants to take a breather but Out is having none of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riddle connects with a nice short shot to Out's temple.


Tap Out's cut is getting worse.
Out won't allow Riddle to pass to mount.
Out wants to get back to his feet.

Riddle is looking for a kimura but Out is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Riddle to get the leverage.
Riddle prevents Out from improving his position.
Riddle has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Riddle is thwarting Out's attempts to control the position.
Riddle trying to control from half guard but Out is working away.
Riddle passes the guard and advances to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Out is bucking up trying to escape but Riddle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Jeez, Tap Out's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tap Out's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tom Riddle!
Tom Riddle is the new heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Tom Riddle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
