Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DooRag McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dead White People by the Afromatics kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McGee might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Brown has got the better of the exchanges.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Brown wants to pass the guard but McGee is keeping the position.

McGee is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brown has his hands clasped together but McGee extends an breaks Brown's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by McGee.

In his post fight interview, DooRag McGee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
