Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koshi Tatsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsu takes one to the chin there.
Tatsu dodges the punch combination from Takeda.
Tatsu tries to clinch but Takeda is having none of it.
Tatsu shoots for a double leg takedown but Takeda sprawls well. He's pushed Tatsu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tatsu throws a combination that misses
and Takeda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tatsu misses with a takedown attempt
and Takeda counters with a nice kick to the body.
Takeda looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Takeda is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tatsu throws a combination that misses
and Takeda makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Takeda counters with a left and a right that stings Tatsu.

Shingo Takeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koshi Tatsu.

Tatsu is still on wobbly legs! Can Takeda finish him?
Takeda fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Tatsu to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Tatsu looks to clinch but Takeda throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Tatsu taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
