Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darth Paduwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paduwan comes to the cage accompanied by Bitch. Aldo has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aldo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paduwan walks into a left hand.
Paduwan throws a leg kick that is checked

and Aldo counters with a shoot takedown. Paduwan fights it but they end up in guard.
Aldo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Aldo works his foot free and advances to mount.

Aldo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Paduwan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Paduwan and Aldo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Aldo is working to tighten is grip on Paduwan 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Paduwan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aldo is really squeezing tight and eventually Paduwan passes out! Aldo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
