Rodrigo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jedi Mind Tricks- The Philosophy of Horror. Michael Mauti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Hiilo Rodrigo will probably get the nod.

Mauti wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rodrigo has him pressed against the cage.

Rodrigo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rodrigo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rodrigo sends Mauti crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodrigo is motioning to the referee to let Mauti up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Rodrigo and Mauti goes tumbling to the canvas! Rodrigo follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mauti wants to get back to his feet.

Rodrigo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mauti to the canvas! Mauti doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Rodrigo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiilo Rodrigo!
A relieved looking Hiilo Rodrigo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
