Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Lancaster Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lancaster Jr's entrance music is Sail by AWOLNATION. A fine choice. Slide has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kimbo Slide is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Slide shoots in and gets a takedown into Lancaster Jr's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Slide shoots in for a takedown but Lancaster Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lancaster Jr lands a nice hook to Slide's body. Slide takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lancaster Jr enables Slide to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lancaster Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lancaster Jr is trying to control the position but Slide postures up.
Slide is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lancaster Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slide doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slide manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lancaster Jr is looking to stand up but Slide isn't so interested in that idea.
