The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eiichi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones slips under a jab from Eiichi.

Eiichi gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Eiichi manages to retain guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Eiichi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Eiichi manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Eiichi's guard.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eiichi keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Eiichi can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Eiichi!

Jones is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Eiichi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Eiichi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jones anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Eiichi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jones slips an arm under Eiichi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jones has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jones is squeezing on Eiichi like an anaconda would it's prey. Eiichi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jimbo Jones!
