The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smokeleaf takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
De Matos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smokeleaf looks to land a left hand but De Matos moved out of range nicely.
Smokeleaf connects with the punch.
Smokeleaf misses with a body shot.
De Matos punishes Smokeleaf's body with a nice straight punch.
Smokeleaf tries to work over De Matos's front leg with a kick but De Matos checks it.
De Matos darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Smokeleaf stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A nice leg kick lands there from Smokeleaf.

Smokeleaf misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Matos throws a hook to the side of Smokeleaf's head but Smokeleaf sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smokeleaf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Matos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smokeleaf lands a straight punch to the body, keeping De Matos at a distance.

Smokeleaf takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
De Matos throws a head kick that misses.

Smokeleaf takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
De Matos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smokeleaf's head backwards.
De Matos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smokeleaf was well out of range. Poor timing from De Matos.
Smokeleaf takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smokeleaf takes a jab right on the kisser.
